The beginnings of ExxTainer as iCube Multidimensions GmbH mark the start of development and sales activities in the B2B sector by the three founders with equal shares in the company: Thorsten Coersmeier, Dr. Thorsten Reinheimer and Dr. Werner Simon.

With the departure of co-founder Thorsten Coersmeier, the company headquarters are relocated to Munich.

The BizzTainer platform based on Java and XML technology is implemented and launched for the first customer for electronic document data exchange (orders, order confirmations, invoices) in the openTrans/XML data format.

Due to a conflict of trademark rights, iCube Multidimensions GmbH is renamed ExxTainer Commerce GmbH.

The BizzTainer application is not only gaining new customers in Germany: the SwissTainer platform is adapted to federal EDI guides and the first project for e-Invoice is launched in close cooperation with the central payer Syntrade AG in Pfäffikon, Switzerland.

At Syntrade’s request, ExxTainer AG is founded in Pfäffikon, Switzerland, as a Swiss sales company.

Certificate from the Swiss Federal Tax Administration for SwissTainer e-Invoice as a VAT-compliant solution.

Development of the invoice portal “Billinx-Exchange” for Lufthansa Airplus Servicekarten GmbH (operation for Airplus in the ExxTainer data center in Munich, participation in the roll-out) and development of a portal concept for electronic toll collection for the Airplus Road Account product division (toll billing services for Toll Collect in Germany and Mautcharger abroad).

ExxTainer AG, Switzerland acquires 66.7 % of the shares of ExxTainer Commerce GmbH in Munich, Germany and introduces a service network between the companies with a focus on development and data center operation at ExxTainer Commerce GmbH and sales, finance, operations, project and support at ExxTainer AG.

The German ExxTainer Commerce GmbH is renamed ExxTainer Technologies GmbH to reflect the new focus on technology assurance and technology development.

Connection of TÜV Süd Industrie-Services to the BizzTainer data center in Munich.

Migration of Syntrade suppliers’ connections from the Syntrade SwissTainer portal to ExxTainer’s SwissTainer ASP.

The LV-Service is an application that supports manufacturers in the electrical industry in the preparation of quotations from received service specifications (tenders or price inquiries).

The latest update of PDF-Mapper offers more PDF document types (e.g. quotation request, quotation, order confirmation), revised mapping functions and new possibilities through plugins as well as some other small adjustments.
